Salted Caramel Hot Cookies

Leftover hot cocoa mix is the mother of invention…or something.

Do you have any idea how tired I am?  Teething tots make for sleepy mums.  I needed a little morale-booster.  I was thinking salty.  I was thinking sweet.  I was thinking chocolate.

  • 1cup butter
  • 3/4cup sugar
  • 3/4cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 2cups flour
  • 1tsp baking soda
  • 1tsp salt
  • 2 packets of Salted Caramel Hot Cocoa mix
  • 1/4cup white chocolate chips {or less}
  • 3/4cup semi-sweet chocolate chips {or more}

Cream your butter and sugar.  Add vanilla and eggs.  Dry ingredients mixed in a separate bowl and added slowly.  Then all your chips.  Scooped onto your sheet and into a 375degree oven for 9minutes.  Slightly underdone is A-OK here, just let them set-up on parchment paper until they’re cool.  Yields about 4dozen “oh my!”s.

Almost makes one forget they haven’t slept in 5days.  Almost.
